Beto O’Rourke says Biden shouldn't have run for president in 2024: He 'failed this country'

'We might very well lose the greatest country that this world has ever known and it might be, in part, because of the decision that Biden and those around him made to run for reelection,' O’Rourke said on the 'Pod Save America' podcast.

Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-Texas, said former President Biden should not have run for re-election in 2024 and he "failed this country in the most important job that he had."

“Just to be clear, Biden should not have run again. And to be even more clear, he failed this country in the most important job that he had,” O’Rourke said on the “Pod Save America” podcast.

“We might very well lose the greatest country that this world has ever known and it might be, in part, because of the decision that Biden and those around him made to run for reelection,”he added.

O'Rourke's comments came after the release of the audio from Biden's interviews with special counsel Robert Hur.
